TV Talking Head
Micah D. Halpern is a syndicated columnist and a social and political commentator. He is a dynamic speaker who specializes in analyzing world events and evaluating their relevance to and impact upon Jewish communities at home and in Israel.
Micah hosts his own weekly TV show entitled Thinking Out Loud on JBS. He is a frequent analyst on network television and radio. His voice is recognized by listeners to talk radio across America, especially fans of his weekly feature, "A Safer World," on USA Radio Network, and his daily 1 minute feature "I've Been Thinking" on Town Square Media Network.
Halpern's recent book, "Thugs," spent time on Amazon's list of best-selling books. He is also the author of "What You Need To Know About: Terror." He maintains The Micah Report at www.micahhalpern.com, a daily commentary offering perspective and insight on important national and international issues.
His face and POV are known to viewers of Fox News, CBS, MSNBC and to those who watch documentaries on PBS, The Learning Channel, The History Channel, Discovery the Food Network. Following September 11th he was the CBS-2 commentator on terror. On September 11th, 2003 he appeared on ABC's The View as a guest expert.
Micah taught at Yale University and was a long-standing educator with Young Judea. He has also taught at Brandeis University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Today he offers his expertise to CEO's and leaders in private and public sectors around the world.
For fun, Micah Halpern writes a column on Kosher wines. He is one of the only exclusively kosher wine reviewers in the world.

Professor at Touro College
Dr. Lester Eckman is a Holocaust survivor, a holder of seven academic degrees, author of ten major books, teacher, lecturer and full professor at Touro College. Among his books are: The Life and Works of the Hafetz Hayim, The History of the Musar Movement, The Teachings of the Fathers of the Musar Movement, From Freedom Fighter to Statesman - Menachem Begin, Corporate Morality and Jewish tradition and the History of the Mirrer Yeshiva from its establishment until 1945 and History of the Yeshivot in Lithuania and White Russia from Beginning Until Destruction. Dr. Eckman is founder and president of the Judaic Research Institute for Research and Publication of Works dealing with Judaica, ethics and the Holocaust. Dr. Eckman did graduate work in such places as Harvard, Columbia and New York Universities. He studied with such outstanding scholars as professors Salo Baron of Columbia and Abraham Katsh of New York University.

We are delighted to have Rabbi Mayerhoff join us again this Passover. He is returning for his 9th year with Elite Dimensions. Rabbi Mayerhoff has lectured and given shiurim at such venues as the Great Neck Synagogue in Long Island, NY and the Community Center of Monsey, NY. In addition to insightful lectures and Divrei Torah, he has lectured on Tanach, and taught Rambam, Mishnah and
Gemorah. He volunteers his spare time to his community and is currently teaching a long running shiur in Mishnah every Shabbat between Mincha and Ma'ariv. He will be overseeing our synagogue services, giving D'var Torah's and drashas on a variety of topics, as well as conducting inspiring shiurim and lectures.
